Jurnal Indonesia: Manajemen Informatika dan Komunikasi Vol. 6 No. 2 (2025) edisi Mei memuat penelitian yang mencerminkan perkembangan terkini dalam bidang teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Edisi ini menampilkan beragam penelitian dengan fokus pada implementasi teknologi praktis, mulai dari pengembangan sistem keamanan menggunakan algoritma kriptografi AES dan peningkatan robustness DES, hingga penerapan Internet of Things (IoT) untuk monitoring kualitas udara dan pengelolaan sampah berbasis web. Dalam bidang komunikasi digital, terdapat kajian mendalam mengenai pemanfaatan media sosial Instagram sebagai platform pemasaran dan sumber informasi publik, serta analisis sentimen menggunakan Natural Language Processing untuk deteksi gejala depresi dari media sosial. Penelitian juga mengeksplorasi optimasi sistem menggunakan metode Simpleks dan simulasi Monte Carlo untuk prediksi bisnis, implementasi sistem pendukung keputusan dengan metode MOORA, serta evaluasi tata kelola teknologi informasi menggunakan framework COBIT 5. Aspek kebijakan dan regulasi turut mendapat perhatian melalui studi komparatif regulasi AI internasional dan analisis politik identitas di ruang digital. Edisi ini menunjukkan integrasi yang kuat antara teori akademis dengan aplikasi praktis, mencerminkan respons terhadap tantangan teknologi dan komunikasi kontemporer dalam era digital.
