Trending Technologies Journal is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by LPPM STMIK Indonesia Banda Aceh, Indonesia. Currently in the administrative processing of official e-ISSN and p-ISSN from the National Centre for ISSN Indonesia (BRIN) for its inaugural volume in 2027, the journal is published biannually in February and August. All published manuscripts are permanently archived and assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI).

Trending Technologies Journal is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access platform dedicated to exploring, validating, and disseminating cutting-edge innovations across emerging technological domains. The journal bridges fundamental computational sciences with multidisciplinary real-world implementations, encompassing software applications, embedded hardware architectures, smart physical systems, and forward-looking theoretical/conceptual frameworks.

To foster rapid knowledge dissemination alongside comprehensive scientific inquiry, the journal accepts two distinct manuscript categories:

Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts (both Full Research and Short Articles) undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process conducted by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant subject area.

Trending Technologies Journal strives for a rigorous yet efficient review process. On average, authors can expect a first decision within 7 days, a peer review period of 14 days, a total submission-to-acceptance time of approximately 28 days, and publication within 7 days of acceptance. Trending Technologies Journal is committed to a fair, transparent, and timely review process in accordance with best practices recommended by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics). To ensure complete editorial accountability, all published articles explicitly feature the complete genesis history (Received, Revised, Accepted, and Published dates).

Trending Technologies Journal periodically publishes Special Issues dedicated to frontier breakthroughs and high-impact trajectories in evolving multidisciplinary tech domains. Special Issues are guest-edited by leading experts and undergo the same rigorous double-blind peer review process as regular submissions.

Proposals for Special Issues should include:

• A clear title and description of the proposed emerging theme;
• Relevance to the journal's scope and pioneering technological trends;
• Names, institutional affiliations, and Scopus/ORCID profiles of proposed Guest Editors;
• Proposed milestone timeline for submission, review, and publication.

Trending Technologies Journal recognizes the constructive assistance offered by Artificial Intelligence tools in scholarly writing while safeguarding academic transparency. The following policy applies to all submissions:

• Transparent Disclosure: Authors must provide an explicit statement prior to References indicating whether or not AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) were utilized during linguistic polishing or proofreading.
• AI Authorship Preclusion: In alignment with COPE standards, AI tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors because non-human software cannot assume legal or ethical accountability for research assertions.
• Author Ownership & Integrity: Authors maintain full intellectual ownership and legal responsibility for the factual integrity, code veracity, benchmark validation, context, citations, and originality of their published work.
• Permitted Scope: The use of AI is welcomed strictly for proofreading, grammar, and stylistic enhancement. Algorithm design, empirical simulations, benchmarks, and substantive conclusions must reflect the authors' own scholarly synthesis.

This policy is fully harmonized with the position statement of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Trending Technologies Journal is published twice a year (biannual) — February and August. Each issue features an intentionally curated collection of peer-reviewed original research, state-of-the-art implementations, and critical technical evaluations. Submission slots per issue are limited to preserve rigorous review quality; the journal may close submissions early once the issue capacity is reached. Trending Technologies Journal is an immediate and permanent Open Access journal. All published content is freely available online immediately upon release, without subscription, registration, or pay-per-view fees. Readers are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to full texts of articles, consistent with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).

To support scholars and foster submissions, publications in the inaugural volumes are fully subsidized / free of charge by LPPM STMIK Indonesia Banda Aceh.

Where fees apply, once a manuscript is formally accepted and processed, the charge is non-refundable due to immediate production commitments.

• Corrigendum / Erratum: Issued when a substantive typographical or calculation error does not compromise the scientific findings.
