Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process conducted by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant subject area.

Jurnal Teknologi dan Pendidikan strives for a rigorous yet efficient review process. On average, authors can expect a first decision within 7 days, a peer review period of 14 days, a total submission-to-acceptance time of approximately 28 days, and publication within 7 days of acceptance. Jurnal Teknologi dan Pendidikan is committed to a fair, transparent, and timely review process in accordance with best practices recommended by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics). To ensure complete editorial accountability, all published articles explicitly feature the complete genesis history (Received, Revised, Accepted, and Published dates).

Jurnal Teknologi dan Pendidikan periodically publishes Special Issues dedicated to emerging and high-impact topics in technology and education. Special Issues are guest-edited by leading experts and undergo the same rigorous double-blind peer review process as regular submissions.

• A clear title and description of the proposed theme;

Jurnal Teknologi dan Pendidikan recognizes the constructive assistance offered by Artificial Intelligence tools in scholarly writing while safeguarding academic transparency. The following policy applies to all submissions:

• Transparent Disclosure: Authors must provide an explicit statement prior to References indicating whether or not AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Grammarly AI, Copilot) were utilized during linguistic polishing or proofreading.
• AI Authorship Preclusion: In alignment with COPE standards, AI tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors because non-human software cannot assume legal or ethical accountability for research assertions.
• Author Ownership & Integrity: Authors maintain full intellectual ownership and legal responsibility for the factual integrity, context, citations, and originality of their published work.
• Permitted Scope: The use of AI is welcomed strictly for proofreading, grammar, and stylistic enhancement. Conceptual design, empirical data analysis, and substantive conclusions must reflect the authors' own scholarly synthesis.

This policy is fully harmonized with the position statement of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Jurnal Teknologi dan Pendidikan is published twice a year (biannual) — June and December. Each issue features an intentionally curated collection of peer-reviewed research articles, reviews, and case studies covering the full scope of technology and education. Submission slots per issue are limited to preserve rigorous review quality; the journal may close submissions early once the issue capacity is reached. Jurnal Teknologi dan Pendidikan is an immediate and permanent Open Access journal. All published content is freely available online immediately upon release, without subscription, registration, or pay-per-view fees. Readers are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to full texts of articles, consistent with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).

To support scholars and foster submissions, publications in the inaugural volumes are fully subsidized / free of charge by STMIK Indonesia Banda Aceh.

Where fees apply, once a manuscript is formally accepted and processed, the charge is non-refundable due to immediate production commitments.

• Corrigendum / Erratum: Issued when a substantive typographical or calculation error does not compromise the scientific findings.
• Retraction: Enacted when a published article contains proven data fabrication, falsification, unreferenced plagiarism, or severe ethical violations. Retracted PDFs are retained in the archive watermarked "RETRACTED" to preserve scholarly history.
