Author Guidelines

Authors are required to prepare their manuscripts strictly in accordance with the guidelines below before initiating submission. Manuscripts that do not comply with these editorial standards will be returned for technical formatting prior to entering the double-blind peer review process.

Standard Submission Workflow
  1. Submission Checklist: Confirm compliance with editorial requirements and ethical declarations.
  2. Upload Files: Upload the anonymized manuscript file and supplementary data (max. 4 MB per file).
  3. Contributors: Enter full metadata for all co-authors (affiliations, emails, ORCID) matching the manuscript exactly.
  4. Details: Provide the manuscript title, structured abstract, and scope references.
  5. For the Editors: Input targeted keywords, cover letter notes, and reviewer recommendations.
  6. Review and Submit: Carefully audit all inputs prior to formal submission confirmation.
Language Policy

Manuscripts may be written and submitted in either English or Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia). Regardless of the language chosen, authors are strongly urged to ensure careful proofreading for academic rigor, grammatical clarity, and terminological precision prior to submission.

File Format & Template

Manuscripts must strictly be prepared in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) using the official journal template downloadable from the journal portal. Standalone PDF uploads are not accepted for initial evaluation. The maximum file size limit is 4 MB per file.

Manuscript Structure & Specifications
Section Content Specifications & Requirements
Title Concise, informative, clear, and limited to a maximum of 20 words without abbreviations.
Abstract Structured single paragraph of 150–250 words outlining: Background, Objective, Method, Results, and Conclusion (no bibliographic citations).
Keywords 4 to 6 specific keywords separated by semicolons reflecting core subject matter and methodology.
Main Body (IMRAD) Standard structure comprising Introduction, Theoretical Foundation (may be integrated), Method, Results, and Discussion.
Mandatory Declarations Explicit statements placed prior to References: (1) AI Usage, (2) Author Contributions, (3) Funding, and (4) Conflict of Interest.
Length & Pagination Approximately 7 to 16 pages formatted in the official template layout (roughly 3,500–8,000 words), excluding references.
Visual Elements Figures must have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. Tables must be built using native Word table formatting (not embedded bitmap images).
Mandatory Manuscript Declarations

To uphold rigorous scientific integrity, transparency, and reproducibility in scholarly publishing—in full alignment with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) core practices and global indexing standards—all submissions must incorporate four concise declaration statements placed immediately prior to the References section. Authors are encouraged to use the following standard templates:

1. Statement on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and AI-Assisted Technologies

Authors must state transparently whether AI tools were utilized during manuscript preparation, data interpretation, or drafting:

  • If not used: “The authors declare that no generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) or machine-assisted tools were utilized in the study design, analysis, or drafting of this manuscript.”
  • If used for language polishing: “During the preparation of this manuscript, the authors used [Tool Name, e.g., Grammarly / ChatGPT] solely for linguistic refinement and clarity. The authors reviewed and verified all content and assume full accountability for the integrity of the published work.”
2. Author Contribution Statement (CRediT Taxonomy)

Specify the intellectual and operational contributions of each author using standardized contributor roles:

“Conceptualization: [Initials]; Methodology: [Initials]; Formal Analysis: [Initials]; Investigation: [Initials]; Data Curation: [Initials]; Writing – Original Draft: [Initials]; Writing – Review & Editing: [Initials]; Supervision: [Initials]. All authors have reviewed and approved the finalized manuscript.”

3. Funding Statement

Disclose all research grants, institutional sponsorships, or acknowledge independent self-funding:

  • If externally funded: “This research was supported by [Funding Body / Institution] under Grant / Contract Number [XXX-XXXX].”
  • If self-funded: “This research received no external financial support and was independently conducted by the authors.”
4. Conflict of Interest Statement

Disclose any commercial, institutional, or personal affiliations that could create potential bias:

“The authors declare that they have no known competing financial interests, commercial affiliations, or personal relationships that could inappropriately influence or bias the findings reported in this paper.”

Citation & Bibliographic Standard (APA 7th Edition)

This journal strictly applies the APA (American Psychological Association) 7th Edition referencing standard. Authors are strongly required to employ dedicated reference management tools (such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote). Direct DOI links must be provided for all references wherever available.

Ethical Screening & Publication Fees
Plagiarism Screening: All incoming submissions undergo automated similarity screening. The maximum allowable similarity threshold is 20% (excluding references and common standard phrasing). Submissions exceeding this threshold will be declined or returned for revision.
Article Processing Charges (APC): This journal operates under an open-access model. There are no submission fees. An Article Processing Charge (APC) applies exclusively upon formal peer review acceptance (detailed on the official Fees page). The APC is non-refundable once editorial production has commenced.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The manuscript is original, has not been published previously, and is not currently under consideration by any other journal or conference proceeding.
  • The manuscript is written in clear English or Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia) and has undergone thorough proofreading for language clarity.
  • The manuscript is prepared using the official Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) template and adheres strictly to the page limits (7–16 pages).
  • The uploaded primary document is completely anonymized for double-blind peer review, with author identities, affiliations, and file metadata removed.
  • The manuscript uses APA 7th Edition referencing style managed through reference tools (Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote) with valid DOIs cited where available.
  • All figures and tables are numbered sequentially, with clear image resolution (minimum 300 dpi) and editable tabular formatting.
  • All contributing authors are entered accurately into the OJS metadata in the exact order and spelling as shown on the final manuscript.
  • A designated Corresponding Author is identified to handle all editorial communications on behalf of all co-authors.
  • Mandatory declarations (AI Usage, Author Contributions, Funding Statement, and Conflict of Interest) are fully stated prior to References.
  • Ethical clearance documentation is obtained and cited for any empirical research involving human subjects.
  • The manuscript similarity index does not exceed 20% when screened through automated plagiarism software.
  • The authors acknowledge the Article Processing Charge (APC) policy outlined on the Fees page and agree to CC BY 4.0 open access licensing upon acceptance.

By submitting a manuscript to this journal, the authors confirm and agree to the following licensing, rights, and ethical terms:
